We’re back - with a fresh new look!

When we announced our temporary closure back in April, we kept the details of our makeover tightly under wraps. But all was revealed over the spring bank holiday in May, when we threw open our doors and welcomed guests back inside!

We’ve come a long way in the time our team has been at The Chagford Inn, and in light of our recent five-year milestone and some fantastic industry recognition - most recently winning a Trencherman’s Award for ‘Best Pub’ - we thought there’s no better time to start a new chapter with a refreshed look that better reflects who we are today.

Speaking on the renovations, our Front of House Manager and Co-owner Jordan said: “It felt like the next piece of the puzzle for us, another step towards a vision we’ve had for the pub since we moved in five years ago.”

“It’s a definite refinement of the relaxing environment we wish to provide”, adds our Head Chef and Co-owner, Ollie, “it really ties in with our ethos towards the Chagford Inn experience as a whole. We have a lot of high quality cooking and service to offer so it fits perfectly into our vision for the place”.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to Torquay-based interior designer, Demi Keenan, who helped bring our ideas to life.

Demi said: “It’s been amazing working with Ollie and Jordan, such a fab, dynamic couple! Their vision is incredible and whilst being so humble, they're such a vibrant go-getting, achieving team!”.

We’re thrilled with the quirky combination of red and green walls and ceilings, vibrant wallpaper and characterful furniture to enhance our customer experience. We hope you’ll pop in soon, whether that be for a quick pint or a three-course meal!
